In many processes nailing, insertion or riveting is necessary to monitor and evaluate the insertion parameters during the process.
The combination of the position and force measurements provide us the following information:
– Insertion force at each point of nailing. It enables to determine whether the friction across the curve of insertion is correct
-Max and Min process forces. We determine the clamping force, the final force and forces in each zone change insertion
– Position at each critical point. In order to know if we have achieved the final position, in order to know the length of the part, etc.
-Velocidad de avance. We can detect if there is any zone where the friction decreases, detect roughnesses or defective surfaces
The company Dr. STAIGER MOHILO Developed in the 90’s the controller DMPF PV3 for the control of insertion in line A powerful and high-speed equipment that allowed us not only the rejection of the pieces at the point of production but determining the defect in the same time of insertion with its consequent interruption of process avoiding possible damage to the defective insertion and reduction of production time.
The inicial DMF’s gave way to new generation of drivers. The models A300 and A400 (allowing four quadrants work, and therefore the nailing control and extraction in one system) until once incorporated in KISTLER group KISTLER it was incorporated the new generation of MaXYmos with touchable screen, major capacity of communication, buses de campo y and an easy and intuitive programming.
