An industrial process is the transformation procedure transformation of a raw material in another processed. It can be done in liquids, solids or gases but there are some general characteristics common to these processes that makes the measurement and control of pressure, temperature, and flow indispensable.
LIQUID MEASUREMENT
Processes with large movement of fluid (sometimes corrosive) require continuous measurement and regulation of parameters such as pressure pipes, temperature, tank levels and circulation rate. SOLID MEASUREMENT Solid powder or grain, require dosage of the product (by weight or volume) and the measurement of the process parameters (air pressure, weight, level of silos, etc.). INDUSTRIAL GASES Industrial gases (corrosive in many cases) needs flow, pressure and temperature measurement.
