The continuous measurement by means of a float is done thanks to the activation of an array of reeds situated consecutively in the inside of the immersor where the float moves.
The microrruptores reed are placed in a circuit board inside the tube. The distance between reeds is 5 mm or 10 mm, and will define the resolution of the system.
When the magnetic float moves through the inmersor, it activates the nearest contact. The mentioned contact is detected in the amplification electronics that generates an analogic signal proportional to the level situation.
This system is highly reliable and is not affected by process conditions. They can work in any product compatible with the material of the float, temperatures up to 140 ° C and pressures of 25 bar. The analogic output can be 4-20 mA or 0 to 10 Vdc.
