Capacitive detectors perform continuous measurement according to the alteration of the capacitance along a bulb (depending on the ratio of bulb in contact with the product). They are very common in the DLM-35 and CLM-36. Application in liquids and granulated solids. For its constructive shape and its application, we can distinguish several types:

Typically the amplifying electronics is installed on the same probe head and incorporates supply, output and adjustment. Like models DLS35 and from our represented DINEL. Programming of 0 and scale is done easily by magnetic contacts. The analogic output can be 4 to 20mA or 0 to 10 Vdc.

It has installation electrodes on the side of the tank. With a short or medium lenght we have enough sensibility to detect the level of the material and avoid problems such as condensation or attached materials.

For vertical installation there are several versions. In general, the electrodes can be rigid (for lengths up to 2000 mm) or flexible (consisting of a flexible steel cable and a counterweight). In this case, the activation point of the contact is adjustable at any point of the electrode. There are versions that incorporate the following features:

– Version ATEX Exia for explosive atmosphere.

– Version for high temperatures up to 200ºC

-versions with protection in FEP, PTFE or PFA
