Isolating valves
They are used to isolate the device from the measuring circuit. This allows us to replace (in case of damage or temporary removal for maintenance or calibration) without interrupting the flow of fluid.
While with suspended particles is necessary to use the ball vales, for air and clean fluids is recommended to use needle valves that avoids a hit by a progressive opening.
Manifolds
They are used to isolate the device from the measuring circuit. This allows us to replace (in case of damage or temporary removal for maintenance or calibration) without interrupting the flow of fluid.
Different combination of valves and circuits allow us to do multiple actions to the process and device: realizar la purga del circuito, drive pressure to a measurement device or calibration, protect differential pressure devices during the start-up, etc.
The models AMFD and similar ones, incorporate multiple combinations: one way two valves, two ways 2 valves, 2 ways and 3 valves, etc.
