In some processes is necessary to use vainas o termopozos desmontables. These elements are cases that are installed to process and host inside temperature probes.
The main functions are:
Use as process isolation. The probe can be removed without interrupting the process since the probe is completely isolated from the measured fluid.
Use as chemical isolation. Allow installation of a standard probe in a process with aggressive liquids not compatible with the measured product.
Use as pressure protection. Se trata de vainas supporting high pressures and allow measurement with standard probes.
Las vainas de tubo soldado are built from a metallic tube (usually stainless steel) with a closed end and welded to a threaded flange.
The connection can be threaded, flange or welded (since it is an element that is fixed in the installation). The fixing of the probe in the vaina is normally threaded.
