High vacuum transmitters
Sensotec supplies high vacuum pressure transmitters by Pirani system.
The Pirani meter is a thermal conductivity device to measurement in vacuum systems. It was invented in 1906 by Marcello Pirani.
The Pirani gauge consists of a metal filament (usually platinum) suspended in a tube that is connected to the vacuum system measured. The filament is connected to an electrical system. By calibrating it, we can perform a pressure reading. We can determine with good accuracy and high resolution high vacuum up to 10 -4 Tor.
Usually the output signal corresponds to a logarithmic scale.
Sensotec offers Tyracont brand devices with ranges of between absolute 20 mbar (Tor) and 1-3 mbar A.
Pressure transmitters for extruders
They are specific transmitters for measuring pressure in plastic extrusion. They withstand high temperatures up to 400 ° C and have a membrane to prevent the socket to be sealed. The process connections are usually as special as the ½ “- 20 UNF.
Mini transmitters
When space is reduced, we can apply specific transmitters with reduced size.
Piezoelectric pressure transmitters
For pulse measurements or high velocity, applies the technology of quartz crystal. They are highly resistant to overpressures and the technology allows the small size and working in high temperatures.
Sensotec Instruments supplies piezoresistive transducers form the KISTLER. The working frequency can reach the 300KHz and the pressure ranges reach 1000 barSpecific transmitters
Transducers and transmitters OEM
Low cost transmitters or specific properties transmitters for supply to machinery manufacturers or standardized facilities. The constructive characteristics are defined in terms of the needs of the application, the number to manufacture and expected cost.
