Electric switches
The micro-switches that move the needle open or close one or two electrical switches accessible by a cable or connector situated in the case.
These switches, that can put the desired pressure value, are applied in the activation of devices or as alarm activation.
The electric switches can be dry (only for mechanical contact), magnetic (where a magnet increases the contact junction and a hysteresis is carried out in the disconnection).
Analogic output
It is a system underused where the needle acts on a transmitter with output 4-20 mA.
Special spheres
Sensotec Instruments provides customized spheres with special scales (equivalent to strength to measure hydraulic cylinders, different physical units, etc.), or custom fields (screen printing identification codes, colour marking of pressure zones, logos or trademarks, etc.).
Internal deposits
Manometers can incorporate some internal elements that allow improving the measurement in some working conditions.
From them, we would like to mention the glycerine filling or silicone filling that absorbs the needle movement, the overpressure resistance devices, (RAS), the screw that corrects presiones pulsantes,the adjustable needles or the needles that stay fixed in the maximum pressure achieved.
