The separators are elements that isolate the sensitive element of a pressure measuring device of certain corrosive, viscous, or dangerous fluids.

They consist of a metal membrane welded on an upper disc that is coupled to a lower disc or to a flange.

Pressure transmission is carried out using a neutral liquid displaced by the membrane, which deforms under the effect of pressure. This compression is transmitted directly to the measuring instrument.

Separators with threaded connection

The lower part of the separator (in contact with the process) has a threaded connection. This thread is the access to the membrane (by a hole for the passage of the fluid) or can have a welded membrane in the end of the thread.

The most common ones are the D100, D101, D200, D300 and D050.

Separators with flanged connection

The lower part of the separator (in contact with the process) has flanged connection DIN o ASNSI. This flange is the access to the membrane (by a hole for the passage of the fluid) or may have a membrane welded on the same face of the flange.

The most common ones are the series D400, D621, D631, D801, etc.

Transmitters for sanitary applications

They are intended for installations that require a state of rigorous cleaning and total safety for products in contact. Its function is to prevent from growing bacteria in the measuring element.

The quick coupling and the membrane facilitate the cleaning. Also we have devices that meet the highest standards in this field especially concerning medical and pharmaceutical field and food like the FDA or 3A.

The most common and standardized connections are DIN 11851, SMS145 and Clamp ISO 2852.

The most common models are the series DANC, DAEF, DAEL, etc.
